The group of Solar Energy Materials and Systems (SEMS) from the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC) announces an Experienced Research position available for a highly motivated candidate to work in a Marie Curie Academia Partnerships and Pathways (IAAP) Project.
The candidate will carry out a multidisciplinary activity with the final aim of the development and industrial implementation of advanced technologies for the fabrication of low cost high efficiency Cu(In,Ga)(S,Se)2 (CIGS) thin-film solar cells and modules. INDUCIS proposes the development and industrial implementation of an environmentally friendly electrodeposition based CIGS photovoltaic technology for the fabrication of low cost solar cells and modules with high conversion efficiency.
Candidate must have skills in Chemistry, Physics, Material/Electronics Engineering or equivalent. Previous experience in Thin Film Photovoltaic Technology will be also very valuable for the position.
The candidate will work in the development of light scattering based tools for in-situ and on-line processes with interest in the CIGS technology at Industrial level, as well as in the development of Chemical/Physical processes at laboratory scale (Electrodeposition, Reactive Thermal Treatments, Chemical Bath Deposition, Sputtering, Optoelectronic Characterization). The receptor Group at IREC, is one of the reference Group in Thin Films Photovoltaic Technologies in Spain, ensuring a high level scientific and technological work, with several publication in high impact factor journals by year and working in a very modern Laboratory with a very friendly and professional environment.
